Who’s getting it wrong?

Last week design website Canva suffered a data breach that saw details of 139 million users stolen. Users were informed the next day however their breach notification was criticised because they led the email with other positive company news, only mentioning the breach in the second paragraph. TalkTalk failed to inform 4,545 customers that their personal information, including bank account details, were stolen as part of their 2015 data breach. This information was uncovered in a BBC Watchdog Live show last week. Read more here.
