Data Breaches

British Airways has warned that some of its executive club members’ information may have been put at risk after a cyber hack on its IT system operator SITA. Read more here.

Hackers have obtained sensitive documents relating to British aid projects, including details related to projects funded by a secretive national security fund. The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office and experts from the National Cyber Security Centre are investigating how a “third party” came to obtain the data. Read more here.

15 schools in the United Kingdom have been unable to provide online learning due to a cyberattack. According to Nova Education Trust, a threat actor was able to access the trust’s central network infrastructure and while an investigation took place, all existing phone, email, and website communication had to be pulled.
