Coronavirus Response

A scheduled update to the NHS COVID-19 app, due to be published on 12th April, has been blocked because it allows location tracking – something prohibited by Apple and Google, which developed some of the code it uses. Read more here.


Data Breaches

Facebook has refused to apologise after a data breach left the details of 530 million users, including 11 million British users exposed. It has also said it has no plans to notify users affected. Read more here.
